“The reason I am in Men of Purpose is to find a purpose for me and what I want to do in life. Now this program has helped me accomplish a lot of things already so far, from the discipline to the tutors and having fun with it. See when I get older I want to be an Engineer and as time goes there isn’t a thing that Men of Purpose hasn’t done for me to help me accomplish my goals. I have met with different types of engineers and have learned a lot. And Men of Purpose isn’t just about teaching and learning it’s also about responsibility, they teach us how to be responsible, how to take care of ourselves and our family, they give us opportunities that I can probably say none of us has asked for. We have fun to, like we go out and play basketball, workout etc but it’s not just playing and working out we’re learning how to not put eachother down and that’s why I think that Men of Purpose has helped me in ways that I couldn’t imagine”
