After 20 years in the restaurant industry, I began to feel the stress of long hours and no quality family time. So I decided to make a personal choice of a career change. I wanted to do something that would provide me the quality of life I desired, and still fulfill my heart’s desire to cook all genres of cuisines that allowed me time to spend in the kitchen. People criticized and couldn’t believe that I left the commercial kitchen industry, but I had a vision and I was no longer going to let my dreams fester. It was time to put my dreams into action. Before I knew it, I started Bayou Catering and decided to give people the foods I had so long been waiting to create, and serve the foods I love to cook. My focus is to provide affordable priced and pricing for high quality foods so that any potential customer can have their events professionally catered and not break the bank.
